MAY MCDONOUGH

I’m film composer May McDonough. I am focused on making your film more visceral through the aid of music. Your film tells the audience what is happening, but the music is what will tell them how to feel about it.   I believe in working in detail with a director to discover and accentuate the truest nature of their vision.  My best is your best.  I am both traditionalist and experimentalist in that I am willing to extend myself beyond traditional instrumentation if that is what your film needs, and I have often been known to do so (even inventing instruments at times).
